This policy explains how I collect and use personal data when you visit udiguitar.com, chat or email with me, join my programmes or buy from me. I keep it short and plain.
Who I am

What I collect and why

I don't sell your personal data, and I don't send you marketing unless you've agreed to it (or, if you're a customer, about similar things from me, which you can opt out of at any time).
Who I share it with
I use trusted service providers that process data on my behalf, under contracts that require them to keep it safe:
- Website hosting, speed and security: my hosting provider, WP Rocket / RocketCDN and Cloudflare.
- Live chat: Chatway, which stores chat messages and the name and email you give it.
- Payments: Stripe and Payhip. They handle your card details; I never see them.
- Community and courses: Skool, which runs my online community and programmes under its own privacy policy.
- Email: my email provider and Resend (for emails about the interactive ebook).
- Analytics and advertising measurement (only with your consent): Google Analytics, and the ChatGPT Ads (OpenAI) measurement pixel.
- Embedded content: YouTube videos and links to Spotify and Apple Music. These services may collect data when you play or open them, under their own policies.
Some of these providers are in the United States or use servers there. Transfers are protected by the UK's adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge) or by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
Cookies
Necessary cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choice. Analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics and the ChatGPT Ads pixel) are only used if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link on the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Embedded YouTube videos may set cookies when you play them.
How long I keep it
- Chat and email conversations: up to 2 years after our last contact.
- Customer and order records: 6 years after the purchase, as UK tax law requires.
- Email list: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask me to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how I use it (including stopping marketing at any time), or move it to another service. Where I rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email udi@udiguitar.com and I'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, please tell me first so I can put it right. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, 0303 123 1113.
Children
My services are for adults. I don't knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you think a child has given me their data, email me and I'll delete it.
