WORK WITH ME · 12-MONTH PROGRAMme
Become a well-rounded guitarist by making music

The new way of learning guitar: Understand the fretboard, harmony, rhythm, and melody by creating your own music.
We'll have a quick guitar chat to see where you are, where you want to go, and whether I can help.
Real guitarists. Real music.
They didn't wait until they were “good enough” to start creating. They learned how to create music as part of learning the guitar.

You, too, can learn the skill of creating music, even if you think you're not "talented" or "good enough"! Like any other skill, you simply practise it.
You can play guitar. But does it actually make sense?
Maybe you’ve been playing for a few months. Maybe you’ve been playing for years. You know some chords. Maybe some scales. You’ve learned songs, watched YouTube videos, maybe bought courses.
But somehow, you still feel like you’re missing the bigger picture.
You know chord shapes, but not how they connect. You know some scales, but don’t really know what to do with them. You get lost when you move around the fretboard. You can play someone else’s music, but creating your own feels completely different.
And when you sit down to practise, you’re still wondering: what should I practise? Why am I practising it? How does this connect to everything else?
You don’t need another pile of random guitar information. You need to learn how the pieces fit together by actually making music with them.
What if you could make more progress by doing less?
Most guitar programmes teach you information, one topic at a time. A chord. A scale. A song. A theory concept. Then you’re expected to somehow put it all together...
I take a different approach: learn more by focusing on less.
You learn one topic, like a chord, and then you focus on every aspect of it, like playing it cleanly and using the right technique, and then you make music with it.
Connect it to other chords. Playing it with a new fingerstyle pattern. Singing with it. Playing a scale with it. That's how you embed it deeper in your memory.
Then, without noticing, you're starting to compose music, and the dots start to connect, and the puzzle pieces start becoming one picture.
THE METHOD
The SEEDS™ Method
SEEDS™ is my simple framework to turn a musical idea into a complete solo guitar instrumental piece. And it’s at the heart of how you’ll learn guitar throughout the programme.
S · Sow
Capture a small musical idea. A melody. A rhythm. A chord movement. A sound.
E · Elevate
Develop the idea instead of immediately moving on. Repeat it. Change it. Extend it. Turn into a more substantial guitar part worth exploring.
E · Enrich
Bring harmony into the picture. Explore chords, harmony, accompaniment and other possibilities that support your initial idea.
D · Develop
Give the music shape. Build sections. Create contrast. Develop the idea into a completed structure.
S · Share
Refine it. Let it go. Finishing is also a skill.
SEEDS isn’t just a composition method
It’s how you’ll learn the guitar.
As you create and improvise, you’ll naturally learn everything you need: the fretboard, chords, harmony, rhythm, melody, theory, ear training, improvisation and composition - because you’re actually using them.
Instead of treating these as disconnected subjects, you’ll learn them because you’re actually applying them. That’s how you learn by creating.
My New Programme
A year to become a well-rounded guitarist
This isn’t another library of lessons you disappear into. It’s a 12-month guided programme with me.
2 live sessions with me every week
Learn, apply, ask questions, get feedback and work through problems with me live.
Personal feedback
Submit your playing and music for direct feedback from me.
A structured path
You’ll know what you’re working on, why you’re working on it, and what comes next.
Practical assignments
You learn by doing, NOT by endlessly watching long lessons.
Composition and improvisation from the start
You don’t wait until you’re “advanced” before you start creating.
A community of like-minded and supportive guitarists
Learn alongside people at different stages of the journey, and they're there for you.
Your own original music
If you do your fun homework, practice and follow my instructions, you'll finish at least one guitar piece you'd love to share with the world.
What does the year actually look like?
Your exact path depends on where you’re starting. But the programme progressively builds four things.
01 · Foundation
Build the fundamentals you need to play with confidence.
02 · Connection
Understand how the fretboard, chords, melody, harmony and rhythm fit together.
03 · Creation
Use that understanding to improvise, compose and develop your own ideas.
04 · Integration
Bring everything together so you can pick up the guitar and make music without constantly wondering what you’re supposed to do.
You’re not following someone else’s musical journey. We’re building yours.
What you’ll learn to do
By the end of the programme, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of:
- The fretboard
- Chords and harmony
- Rhythm and melody
- Music theory
- Ear training
- Improvisation
- Composition
- Musical expression
And how to fuse them together.
Play. Sing. Improvise. Compose. Create. Understand what you’re doing and why.
Questions you might be asking
What if I don't have much time?
You don't need to play for hours. The minimum is 15 minutes of focused daily practise, because it's about quality more than quantity. The programme gives you structure, guidance and accountability; you just need to commit to practising daily. The question isn't whether you have unlimited time. It's whether becoming the guitarist you want to be is important enough to make time for.
What if I'm too much of a beginner?
You don't need to be advanced. You need enough experience with the instrument to benefit from learning how it all connects. We start from where you are. You don't need to know everything before you begin - that's the point. During the call, I can better assess where you are in your guitar journey.
I've already bought guitar courses. Why would this be different?
Because you don't need another pile of information. You need to know what matters, what comes next, how it all connects, and how to actually use it. This is guided learning and application, not another content library or online course you never finish (most guitarists never finish!).
Can't I just learn this from YouTube?
Some of the guitar and music lessons you won't find on YouTube, or at least not in my way of explaining them. You can learn an enormous amount from YouTube. But the main problem isn't access to information (there's already too much, which is overwhelming). The problem is to know what applies to you, what to work on next and when, and how to apply what you learn so you won't forget it.
What if I'm not good enough to compose?
Composition is a skill you learn and, like any skill, by practising it, you will get better at it. I wasn't a good composer when I started. I simply learned it and wasn't born with any musical talent. If you're open to learning and trying new things, you will succeed.
What if I fall behind?
There isn't a class you're racing against. Everyone starts from a different place. Your path is based on where you are and where you want to go. In general, never compare yourself to others - that's a recipe for failure. Instead, compare yourself to your past self and enjoy and appreciate the progress you make.
Why does it take a year?
Because we're not giving you a bag of shortcuts and tricks - we're building your musicianship. You learn something, apply it, get stuck, figure it out, create with it, then come back to it later with deeper understanding. That takes time. A year gives us the space to build the foundations and actually use them.
A year is a big commitment
It is, and that's intentional. This isn't for someone who just wants to dabble for a few weeks. It's for guitarists who genuinely want to become more well-rounded musicians. The commitment gives us the time to actually build something.
Is this one-on-one or a group?
It's a good mixture of both. You'll have 2 live sessions with me every week, personal feedback, and a community of other guitarists and musicians. You get direct guidance from me while you learn alongside other committed guitarists.
What is the cost?
My new programme for the first 5 founding members is $2,400 for the year (and there's another bonus). If you do the maths, it's only about $46 a week, which is less than an average weekly guitar lesson, but you get so much more.
Are there more ways to work with you?
Yes. My new yearly programme fits about 80% of guitarists I talk to. During the call, I'll assess whether you'd benefit from a different option that'll work better for you.
What's next?
1 · Book your call
Find the best time slot for you.
2 · We talk
Be there on time with your guitar, and we’ll talk about your playing, goals and experience.
3 · We see if it’s a fit
If I genuinely think I can help you, I'll offer you a place. If I don’t think it’s right for you, I’ll tell you. It's all based on honesty.
Ready to become a well-rounded guitarist by making music?
You don’t need another year of collecting guitar information. You need to start connecting the pieces by actually using them.
One year. One clear direction. Real guidance. Your music.
